RUNOUT EXPLORER

Poker runout calculator and card-by-card explorer

Runout analysis answers “what changes when this card arrives?” It does not tell the dealer which card to choose, and it does not become a recommendation unless a separately qualified strategy model supports one.

Legal cards come first

Every visible board card, known private card, and declared dead card is removed from the deck before the next-card distribution is built.

For a clean deck model, each remaining physical card has equal chance; conditional range weights affect hand outcomes, not which undealt card physically appears.

Turn and River order matters

A two-card completion can be viewed as unordered for final showdown equity, but a street-by-street strategy explorer must preserve Turn then River order because betting opportunities differ between the streets.

FlopForge therefore reports final-board equity and continuation analysis under separate scopes.

Read the chart as sensitivity evidence

Large changes across cards show that the current position is runout-sensitive. Small changes suggest the current model is more stable across the remaining deck.

Neither pattern guarantees profit against a real opponent; the interpretation remains conditional on the entered ranges and betting tree.

FAQ

Questions this page should not hide

Why are there 990 Flop completions for two known hands?

With 45 unseen cards, there are C(45,2)=990 unique final-board pairs. For final showdown equity, the same two cards give the same seven-card hand regardless of order.

Why must strategy preserve order?

A Turn creates another betting round before the River, so action value can depend on which card arrives first.

Are all next cards equally likely?

Physical undealt cards are equally likely in a clean deck. The resulting equity can differ because each card changes legal combinations and hand strength.
